Brooklyn International Short Festival invites filmmakers from around the world to submit their works, to be seen in the cultural heart of Brooklyn. The festival aims to gather emerging talent not only from the US but also from around the world. Filmmakers and artists have been attracted to Brooklyn and have used its potential as a setting for their films, and we hope to use these cultural networks to present you with unique festival experiences. Short films take a special place in the cinema universe. They are harder to access and have difficulties reaching larger audiences, and we hope to do our best to support them. Join our global network of Filmmakers, Actors, Directors, Producers, Writers, Photographers and everyone in between now! Be part of a vast and growing community. All filmmakers will be allowed to develop their work and have their films seen by many more! Short films of all genres are welcome. Maximum length: 40 minutes.
